The German National Genome Research Network (NGFN) is the largest project of genome research funded by the German federal ministry of education and research (BMBF). With NGFN-Plus and NGFN-Transfer in the Program of Medical Genome Research the NGFN has entered its third period of funding (2008-2013).
On the following pages we would like to present the scientific success of NGFN-Plus and NGFN-Transfer. You will find information about the number of publications, patents and research awards as well as an overview of the internal and external networking of NGFN-Plus and NGFN-Transfer in the Program of Medical Genome Research. Moreover we will provide data about the dimension of academic education and public relations of the network and finally show an overview of the number of publications released by the NGFN since its foundation in 2001.
