A coordination subproject (M, Heidelberg) will handle the necessary network tasks, such as organization of consortium meetings, adherence to the work plan, verification of milestones and co-ordination with the NGFN+ administration with reportings and guidelines. The co-ordinator is overseeing and helping with the collaboration between the CCN teams in Heidelberg, Kiel, Regensburg and Halle. He will be in contact with the German HNPCC Consortium (headed by Peter Propping) and the international collaborators Richard Houlston (UK), Lauri Aaltonen (Finland) and Antoni Castells (Spain). The co-ordinator will be assisted by a PhD level scientist who will have data management and secretarial duties for the project. This person will be taking part in the project on bioinformatics and data analysis phases in close collaboration with the genotyping activities of TP2 (D).
